Having thought long and hard about it, I decided my old faithful EOS1000D deserved retiring. It's an 18 year old camera now and has served me well, but it's meagre 10.1 megapixel images and it's entry level features have left me wanting more - and most importantly it does NOT record video at all.
Therefore, enter my new little baby - a brand new Canon EOS R50V which is a video centric version of the classic mirrorless EOS R50. The kit I purchased is the creator combo and so it contains a small tripod with remote controller; and a rather nice stereo microphone.
Plus with it being Canon I can buy an adaptor to use all my old EF lenses!
First Light happened last night at my gig at the Jolly Brewer in Lincoln - although our sound engineer, Jake, took these photos on full auto mode.
